Established in 1985, Smaller Scholars Montessori Academy offers Montessori Education for children ages 18 months through 6 years.  We are an international community of learners respecting all nationalities and religious beliefs.

This location is convenient to the Energy Corridor near Highway 6 and Interstate 10.  For commuters this locale puts you near an exit and entrance to the Interstate and across the freeway from the local Metro Park and Ride.   

Our Grisby Road location is a small community consisting of 4 total classrooms:  1 Toddler and 3 Primary rooms.  The foyer is large and inviting allowing easy access to the administrative team.  The large classrooms are bright, sunny and fully equipped with Montessori materials. Our four certified Montessori Teachers have been with Smaller Scholars for a cumulative total of over 45 years.

The covered playground allows for maximizing each child’s large motor and social development.  The outdoor playhouse encourages imaginative play along with our “trike” track, hop scotch and ball area.  The shaded patio is also used as an outdoor classroom for special occasions and special projects.

Optional classes are available to further expand the abilities of our well-rounded children.  Not only does this benefit your child, but the entire family will be able to spend more “quality time” together instead of running from activity to activity during evenings and weekends.
